Story

Last Year We Climbed Kilimanjaro. This Year We're Going Higher.

We are The Live Crew - a group of music lovers, adventurers, and firm believers that the best things in life are done together, for something bigger than yourself.

Giving back has always been part of who we are. It's woven into the way we move through the world, the events we work on, and the communities we're lucky to be part of. So when the chance came to turn that belief into action - boots on, lungs burning, all in - we said yes.

Last year, ten of us set off to scale Mount Kilimanjaro with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) and The Tribe Experience. We'll be honest: it was the hardest thing any of us had ever done. Seven days of relentless climbing, altitude headaches, soup for every meal, and midnight summit pushes in -18°C. But on Day Six, at 5,895m, every single one of us stood on the roof of Africa and wept. Together. And in doing so, we raised over £12,000 for the MND Association, as well as donating to Feathers Tale and Angels Gate.

That experience changed us. And it left us hungry for more.

Now, we're going again.

This November, 15 of us - some returning crew, some brand new to this kind of madness - are heading to Nepal for A Sonic Adventure in Nepal, a 12-day journey through the Himalayas to Lake Tilicho, one of the highest glacial lakes on Earth at 4,920m. There, under the light of a Himalayan full moon, we'll take part in the world's highest full moon party - a powerful fusion of music, nature, and intention. This time, our partners are the same brilliant people: Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and The Tribe Experience. And amongst our 15 TLC warriors, we have three incredible mother-and-child duos making this journey together.

But this trip is about so much more than the adventure.

The funds we raise will help complete the Girls' Learning Centre (GLC) in Devchuli, Nepal - the culmination of seven years of the Girls' Empowerment Programme (GEP). Since 2018, GEP has grown from supporting just 40 girls to reaching more than 27,000 young women across the country. Through education, counselling, and vocational training, it helps girls escape cycles of exploitation and early marriage, build confidence and independence, and discover new opportunities for learning and leadership. In rural Nepal, thousands of girls still face immense barriers - from child marriage and trafficking to poverty and lack of access to education. The GLC will give them a safe, happy, and empowering environment to grow.

Our goal is to raise £20,000 as a crew. Every single pound takes us - and those girls -

closer to the top.

We'll be holding fundraising events along the way and sharing updates, tips, and stories throughout our journey. Whether you can give £5 or £500, it means the world to us and makes a real, tangible difference to thousands of young women in Nepal.

Thank you for being part of The Live Crew community. Thank you for showing up for the girls of Nepal.

Let's go again. 🏔️
