Raising money for PROSTATE CANCER UK

Screw Prostate Cancer with Forgefix
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 (England & Wales), SC039332 (Scotland))
ForgeFix has launched its nationwide Screw Prostate Cancer campaign, in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, to raise £100,000 and encourage 100,000 men to check their risk of prostate cancer.

Story

This September, Tim, Paul, James and Andrew are taking on an incredible challenge to help Screw Prostate Cancer as part of ForgeFix’s brand‑new fundraising campaign.

Starting on 3rd September, the four of them will set off from Whitley Bay and walk an amazing 105 miles over 5 days, finishing their journey at Bowness-on-Solway. This route will take them across stunning landscapes, through tough terrain, and along some very long days on their feet—but all for a cause that matters deeply to them and to many families across the UK.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, and every year thousands of dads, brothers, partners, friends and colleagues are affected. The team want to play their part in raising awareness, driving early detection, and helping fund vital research and support services.

Along the way, they’ll be joined and supported by colleagues, friends, and the wider ForgeFix community—cheering them on, walking short sections with them, and keeping their spirits high when the miles start to take their toll.

They’re walking to make a difference.

They’re walking to save lives.

And they’re walking with the hope that, one day, prostate cancer will be something no family ever has to fear.

If you’re able to donate, share their story, or simply send a message of encouragement, it will mean the world to them—and help Prostate Cancer UK continue its life‑changing work.

Every mile matters. Every pound matters. Thank you for your support.
