Raising money for The Recruitment Junction

The Recruitment Junction places people with convictions into sustainable paid jobs across the north east of England. We see people with convictions rediscover a sense of purpose through work where they can add real value, becoming role models driving positive generation impact across their families.

Story

At The Recruitment Junction we go the extra mile (and some!) to support local people with convictions into meaningful paid employment. Every week, our candidates have to put themselves out there into situations which feel very uncomfortable, daunting and scary as they search for and sustain a job. This summer Emily and Molly (both part of The Recruitment Junction team) are very bravely zip-wiring off the Tyne Bridge to raise much-needed donations for our hardship fund. Can you help them reach their target?

Every week we have to dip into our hardship fund to buy the essential 'extras' to get people into work - from a bus ticket for interview, to PPE for a new job, replacement tools to a qualification to start their dream job.

Please can you consider making a donation - you will be giving our team a huge boost of encouragement as well as enabling the men and women we work with to start and sustain employment. And if you'd like to come and cheer them on, we'll be watching from the Quayside 12-1pm on Friday 18th August.
