Raising money for UNICEF USA

World's Big Sleep Out Chicago 2019 · 7 December 2019 ·

Campaign by UNICEF USA (RCN 131760110)
The World's Big Sleep Out is a one-off charity campaign with the aim to help 1 million people experiencing homelessness around the world through a global program of Sleep Out events in December 2019.

Story

On December 7th 2019, we will hosting our own event - to sleep out DePaul University's quad as part of the World's Big Sleep Out.

For one night, in backyards and iconic locations across the globe, we are joining an expected 50,000 people to sleep out in unison to create the world's largest display of solidarity and support of those experiencing homelessness and displacement.

Donations will go to local and international charities working to end homelessness, including the Institute of Global Homelessness at DePaul, Depaul USA, All Chicago: Making Homelessness History, UNICEF and the Malala Fund.

This event is a starting point for even more exciting work for DePaul's Institute of Global Homelessness--which will work with Sleep Out partners around the world to keep momentum going after this event. We know sleeping out for one night won't end homelessness, but it can bring visibility and be a great chance to raise funds for organizations doing the work.

Please make a donation (any amount helps, $10, $25) to help our team reach our goal.
