Team fundraising for The Living Recovery Foundation

Raising money for The Living Recovery Foundation

Every day, we support up to 30 individuals, offering: - Addiction recovery services. - Housing and tenancy support. - Employment and skill-building opportunities. - Mental health and trauma assistance. - Family support, fostering long-term stability and unity. These services are life-saving and transformative, but they require significant resources to deliver effectively. How You Can Help To fund our new projects and ensure the continuity of these vital services, we’ve launched a JustGiving page. Your support will help us sustain recovery programs, aftercare, and ongoing assistance that make a real difference in people’s lives. By contributing, you’ll be helping us to secure a brighter future for individuals and families in Derby, ensuring these life-changing services remain available for years to come. Thank you for standing with us during this important time. Together, we can continue to change lives and build stronger communities. Neil and the Team

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Derbyshire Unstrictly Dancing Fundraiser is a vibrant and inspiring evening that brings together 11 local couples who step out of their comfort zones to perform live dance routines, all with the shared goal of raising vital funds for The Living Recovery Foundation.

The Living Recovery Foundation is doing far more than simply supporting people to stop using substances. At its core, it recognises that recovery is not just about abstinence, it is about rebuilding a life. The charity was created to fill a real gap in Derby after previous services ended, ensuring that people did not fall through the cracks once initial treatment finished. Through structured aftercare, safe housing, and ongoing personal development support, they provide individuals with the stability and guidance needed to move forward. Their work focuses on restoring dignity, rebuilding confidence, and helping people reconnect with society in a meaningful way.

What makes their impact so powerful is the long term, human approach they take. They walk alongside people as they rediscover their sense of self worth, rebuild relationships, and develop the practical skills needed for independent living. Through peer mentoring, community engagement, and tailored recovery plans, individuals are supported not just to survive, but to thrive. The result is transformation that reaches far beyond the individual, affecting families, communities, and future generations. People who once felt lost and without hope are able to become parents, partners, employees, and active members of society again, showing that with the right support, recovery can truly be life changing.
