The 4Ed Foundation was established following the MND diagnosis of a beloved former rugby player Ed Slater, with the vision of creating an inclusive community for families impacted by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Recognising the unique challenges that MND presents, the foundation aims to provide vital resources and support to enhance the quality of life for those affected. The core purpose of 4Ed is to ease the financial burden on families by raising money to award grants that offer financial assistance and practical support.

This year, we are excited to announce our upcoming event: a personal trek up Ben Nevis on August 3rd, 2025. Our goal is to raise £5,000 to continue this important work. By supporting this fundraiser, you will be directly contributing to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
