Raising money for Christian Aid

Christian Aid Week 2021
Campaign by Christian Aid (RCN 1105851, SC039150)
Drought drives people to the brink. Storms tear families apart. Raging waters show no mercy. In Kenya the climate crisis has made weather more extreme, whether long drought or relentless rainstorms. Join us this Christian Aid Week (10th -16th) May!

Story

This year Warfield Church is raising money for Christian Aid Week by collectively walking (and running) to Glasgow!

In November Glasgow will be the venue for the next UN Climate Change Conference and this year Christian Aid Week is focused on raising money and awareness of the impact of climate change on the poorest communities on our planet.

So if you would like to walk or run for a great cause during Christian Aid Week (10th - 16th May), then join the Warfield team with the link below, set up your own page, give yourself a target and get fundraising. We might be a little separated this year but we can still walk together to raise awareness and money and get fit!

Record and share how far you have walked.............and the best selfies that team members upload from their walk to Glasgow will be collated and shared. So artistic shots and silly costumes expected!

If you would like to sponsor the Warfield Team, or support a particular team member then please use the donate button and help people like Rose in Kenya. Rose says. "Because of climate change, I worry a lot about food. I pray to God that the rainfall will become normal like it used to be".
