We are fundraising for the Nepal Floods Appeal through ActionAid.

The Xtreme Everest family have a long and close relationship with Nepal and the Nepalese people - please help us to help those affected by the tragic events of recent days.

A catastrophic flood struck Nepal’s Rasuwa district on 26 August after an intense surge of water entered the Bhotekoshi river and rapidly travelled downstream through the Trishuli river corridor.

At least 470 people have died and more than 826 people are reported missing. Approximately 317,000 people have been impacted and at least 40,000 people have been displaced.

Entire communities are experiencing extensive destruction, with homes, markets, bridges and roads washed away or severely damaged.

Search and rescue operations are underway, and the scale of the disaster is only just unfolding. ActionAid and their partners are providing emergency shelter, food, safe water, along with medical and protection services, especially for women and children, who are are in urgent need.
