Story
Four of us friends are undertaking a 100km trail walk over the South Downs within 30 hrs!!!
Billed as the ’ultimate team endurance event’ Exercise TRAILWALKER started out as a military training exercise in Hong Kong in 1981 organised by the Queen’s Gurkha Signals and sought to test the endurance and teamwork of the soldiers over a long and arduous course.
In 1986, TRAILWALKER was opened to civilian participation for the first time and this year’s charity walk will take place between September 25th and 26th!
The team will be raising much needed funds for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.
Both charities that are very close to our heart for the incredible work they do together providing drinking water pipelines to remote villages in Nepal.
