Save the UK's Charities

Whilst we can't come together in person for amazing Community events and fundraisers, we have the opportunity to play to our own strengths to raise some money for an amazing local charity.

YMCA North Tyneside is a charity that has been dedicated to strengthening people in our local community since 1879.

YMCA enables people to develop their full potential in mind, body, and spirit. Inspired by, and faithful to, our Christian values, we create supportive, inclusive and energising communities, where young people can truly belong, contribute and thrive.

We support homeless young people through our Supported Accommodation to learn the independent living skills needed to move on to their own homes, being rooted in our community and being able to give back.

We help local young people through our youth projects and after school clubs has enabled young people to try new activities, develop their understanding of community and expand their ‘world view’.

We motivate and strengthen people in North Tyneside through our open access gym for the whole community.

We care for members of our community through our cafe, offering healthy meals, safe space and friendly conversation.

Together we can keep this work going for many years to come! So take the challenge, come together and raise money!
