Team Cass sweats it out for Crisis
"God determines how fast you're going to run; I can help only with the mechanics."
Bill Bowerman, co-founder of Nike
A motley crew of Cass employees, including fun-runners, walkers, wannabe athletes and experienced marathon runners, are joining forces to participate in the Crisis Square Mile Run on Thursday 4 June. This 3.5 mile race is not only a good excuse to have a giggle, but more importantly an opportunity to raise some much-needed cash for Crisis and directly improve the lives of homeless people in the UK.
Please do support Team Cass as they run, walk, waddle and sweat their way around the course. Recessions mean nothing to charities and it is more important than ever that we all dig deep to help support such important causes as Crisis. So hunt down the back of your sofa for some loose change, whip out your credit card or sell your spare kidney, but please do donate.
If you’re not so keen on web-based transactions and prefer handing over cash in person, any one of Team Cass will happily take possession of sponsorship funds.
Team Cass members include: Melanie Hamelle, Nicole Haroutunian, Farida Ahmed, Tim Anderson, Helen Graham, Kjell Horn, Chloe O’Neill, Gulnur Muradoglu, Vince Mitchell, Amanda Chick, Caleb Hulme-Moir, Leon Cuthbertson, Marlen Klepin and Richard Webster.
If you also fancy coming along to give some moral support, all supporters are most welcome. Pom-poms are optional.
