11 strapping athletes with a combined, muscle-toned weight of over 160 stone (increasing by the day!!) are taking on the Bupa Great North Run in Newcastle on 5th October 2008.

Madness? Of course it is....but it's all for the very worthy cause of Cancer Research UK and we hope to raise over £15,000 to assist them in their aim to beat cancer.

So please, please dig deep and sponsor the team and be part of this momentous achievement!

If you do happen to see any of the team out "training" then the chances are they are on the way to either the pub or the chippy so please pull over and give them a lift!!!
