Story
We Earthwatchers are once again banding together to take part in a physical challenge in support of our charity and humble cause. We are soon to don our running/cycling attire and take to the streets in an attempt to train and get a little fitter in order to survive the Hairy Legs Challenge on 9 May.
Not an attempt to grow long leg hair, the bizarrely named Hairy Legs Challenge, is rather a fun (for want of a better word) duathlon consisting of a 5km run, 20 cycle, finished off with a 5km run. Off road. Up hills. For those who know Oxford (where we are based), you will know that hills are not something often encountered, let alone ran or cycled up. Hence the 'Challenge' perhaps.
So please, dig deep and support us. All monies will be used to help support Earthwatch's work, funding scientific research to find answers to the most pressing environmental problems of our time. And you don't even have to come and watch!
Thanks for your support and wish us luck.
