Story
Team Ivan was back again for the ultimate challenge at Tough Guy 2010 — described as one of the world's toughest one-day endurance events, it took place on Sunday 31st January 2010. The course is a hard six(ish) mile cross country run, with hills and a few obstacles, followed by a trip round the notorious Killing Fields assault course. No problem for our intrepid team who braved the snow and ice over an inch thick to make it round in one piece.
The organisers have since banned charity fundraising at Tough Guy so we returned (some of us anyway) just for fun in 2011 to discover that the course is now even tougher, with some new obstacles including a pitch dark Chamber of Horrors where you can get properly electrocuted while crawling through mud and icy water.
We're aiming now to complete the 50 mile Swiss Alpine ultra marathon over the high mountain passes around Davos in July 2011 - then we'll call it a day for this fund raising effort and move on to something else.
Please support us - it doesn't make any sense, but it'll make you feel really good about yourself!
