Well done Team Nolan! All five teams from the Anthony Nolan completed the 3 Peaks within 24hrs. The team spirit was fantastic and everyone encouraged each other to complete the challenge. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us and also to those who are about to!
Every 21 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with leukemia. The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from leukaemia by providing life-saving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. Currently there are 16,000 people worldwide who are in need of a lifesaving donor to be found. The Anthony Nolan staff’s 3 peak challenge will help raise much needed funds to continue the charity’s work. Funds are urgently needed to not only maintain and develop the bone marrow register, but to also continue the charity’s pioneering research into the treatment of bone marrow disorders and improving the effectiveness of bone marrow transplants.
