Hull ComSoc and Anime Society are hosting a 24 hour gaming marathon for charity!
The event is being held in the Fenner superlab, and entry will require a minimum £3 donation to charity.
If you want to go that little bit further, you can stream the event, and try to raise money from your viewers. If you do this, just make a justgiving account and join this team, then you can link your page to your viewers for donations. There will be a prize for the person who raises the most money!
Our chosen charity is SpecialEffect.
SpecialEffect enable severely disabled people to use computers in any way possible – using whichever part(s) of their body that work best - by adapting technology to their individual needs.
Almost always, the people we help feel trapped in their bodies. It’s so important they can join in with family/friends, to be included and not left out. This can hugely benefit rehabilitation, mental wellbeing, self-esteem and quality of life.
