Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. We've joined together to raise money for GOSH.
Ethan was born on the 7th March 2019 a health baby boy weighing 8lb 11oz. On the 11th August at 5 months old, I took Ethan to our local hospital as he started to feel clamy, freezing cold with sweats. It was later diagnosed after an x-ray and many tests later that Ethan has Dilated Cardiomyopathy (link below).
Ethan was blue lighted to GOSH and has remained there since. He has had many ups and down which has lead to him now being urgently listed for a heart transplant and was put on the Berlin Heart (link below) which is pumping his heart for him until we receive that precious gift.
We have created this page not just for ourselves in helping to raise money but for our very kind family and friends who are helping us to meet our target. We want to give back to GOSH who have been paramont in the care and support they have given our Ethan.
Ethan has, as at February 2020, been urgently waiting for a heart for 6 months. We also ask anyone who reads this also sign up for organ donation or at least have those discussions. We have been campaigning with the support of the NHS in raising this awareness and importance.
In the summer of 2020 Ethan received that call and because of a donor, because someone said yes to organ donation, our Ethan is now home thriving.
Please accept our personal THANKS from us and Ethan for your very kind dontation!
