Freddie & Bill Harrison's Fundraising Team

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

Freddie Harrison was born on 16 October 2013, at 26 weeks gestation, weighing 2lb 10oz.

After 6 weeks at Liverpool Women's Hospital, and then 7 weeks at Warrington Hospital, he was able to come home on 17th January 2014 (his original due date). He has since made great progress, and is an inspiring little boy.

His younger brother Bill Harrison was born on 11 September 2015, at 28 weeks gestation, weighing 3lb 5oz.

His extra two weeks growth stood him in good stead, and he was able to come home after 9 weeks in Warrington Hospital's Neonatal Unit. He is also making good progress.

We are now doubly determined to raise money in thanks for all the support given to Freddie, Bill and ourselves during those traumatic early months following their premature births.

Friends and family have supported various events raising funds for the following charities:

Warrington Hospital
We know we're so fortunate to have two healthy young boys, and for that we will always be indebted to all the amazing staff at Warrington Neonatal Unit.
Across a cumulative 16 weeks in their care, we have witnessed first hand how hard they work, often under immense pressure with the unit running at full capacity.
These 'angels in uniform' deserve far more support and credit... and funding!

It's not just the primary care of the boys we will remember; it is how they also look after the parents, helping us all through the "emotional journey" and ulimately preparing us for homecoming and beyond!

Liverpool Women's Neonatal Unit
(The Newborn Appeal)

Freddie spent the first seven weeks of his life in this neonatal unit, initially in Intensive Care and then in a High Dependency room.
There is no doubt the wonderful people in the unit saved Freddie's life, and paved the way for his recovery.

Liverpool Women's Hospital
(The Kitty Appeal)
During Freddie's time in Liverpool, we received an enormous amount of help from the Women's Hospital, not least the provision of free accomodation in a flat adjacent to the hospital. This was invaluable, ensuring we remained close to Freddie at all times.

Please see the pages linked below to make any contributions, all of which are very much appreciated.

Massive thanks also to everyone who is planning a challenge or event and offering their sponsorship to Freddie and Bill's Fundraising Team.
