Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Bill Harrison was born on 11 September 2015, at 28 weeks gestation, weighing 3lb 5oz.
He then spent 9 weeks in Warrington Hospital's Neonatal Unit, moving through Intensive Care, High Dependency and Special Care.
He is now making good progress at home and is an inquisitive, hungry little boy, adored by his family... especially his big brother!
With Freddie having also been cared for in the unit, we are now doubly determined to raise money in thanks for all the support given to both our boys and ourselves during those traumatic early months following their premature births.
Warrington Hospital
We know we're so fortunate to have two healthy young boys, and for that we will always be indebted to all the amazing staff at Warrington Neonatal Unit.
Across a cumulative 16 weeks in their care, we have witnessed first hand how hard they work, often under immense pressure with the unit running at full capacity. These 'angels in uniform' deserve far more support and credit... and funding!
It's not just the primary care of the boys we will remember; it is how they also look after the parents, helping us through the "emotional journey" and ultimately preparing us for homecoming and beyond!
The money we raise through this page will be earmarked by the charity to be specifically directed to Warrington's Neonatal Unit.
