Hello, we are five sixth form students from Burgess Hill School, Varndean College and Ardingly College. We have been raising money for Cancer Research UK, which is a cause close to all of our hearts. We hope to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, in the hope that it will change the lives of others around us. On Thursday 23rd August four of the girls completed a sponsored walk around the 75 mile costal path of the Isle of Wight. The walk took five days to complete, and we carried all our kit with us. Unfortunately, due to injury, Constance was unable to par-take in the walk, but is still actively fundraising and plans to do a cake sale in Ardingly in the near future. Thank you to Maddy Cass for stepping in at the last minute to fill Constance’s space. Thanks must also go to The Steamer Inn, Brighstone Youth Hostel, Comforts Farm and especially Lucketts Farm for putting us up during our time on the Island.
