Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page - in memory of Anna King.
On 8th October 2014, Anna took her own life aged just 19.
Anna lived her all-too-short life to the full and made lasting memories for all who knew her. She was there for others; often putting their needs before her own.
Anna's Angels Cycling Crew is a mixed group of cyclists; family and friends of varying skills - one person didn't even have a bike when they signed up to do the ride! The crew is made up of: Caroline (Anna's mum), ), Tom (Anna's brother), Juliette (Anna's auntie) as well as Abbie, Annette, Keith, Will, Frann, Jane, Katy, Sophie and Clare.
We have come together for the challenge of doing the London to Brighton cycle ride on 6th September 2015 in honour of Anna's memory.
We hope to increase awareness of some of the issues that young people face as well as the support that can be available to see them through the difficult times.
We are supporting two charities - Papyrus (prevention of young suicide) and Beat (advice & support concerning eating disorders). We are aiming to raise at least £1000 for each charity.
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation will really help us to reach this goal.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
