Hi!
Team Beers n Hills n Sheep n Blisters have come together to take part in the Oxfam Trailtrekker challenge.
We made it! 29 hours and 2 minutes and a sprint finish.
A massive thank you to Alan Doyle, support crew extraordinaire and vital part of the team.
Thank you to Ken for for getting to the 41 mile mark nursing old war wounds that saw him retire with grace and dignity, and still be there for the other team members at subsquent check points.
Thank you to Davey and Charles for coming into the team at short notice, and for giving there all and getting across the finish line. There was a point in the last 5 miles where I thought we'd broken Davey.
And thank you to everyone that's donated, playlisted, carbooted, ceilidhed and supported us to smashing our fundraising target into tiny little pieces.
I'm sure I speak for all the team when I say it's a massive sense of achievemnt as the muscle ache fades.
I've done it now. If anyone wants to put an attempt together in future I'll volunteer for your support crew.
Thank you,
Craig
