Join the 5th annual Charity Cycle Adventure on 28th - 30th November 2014 for an excellent few days cycling across some of Vietnam's most beautiful scenery and support Saigon Children's Charity at the same time!!!
The three-day - 300 km ride starts from Hue’s local villages and continues to Lang Co for an overnight stay. After the first day’s warm-up, the trip goes uphill as you climb up the challenging but beautiful Hai Van pass – a mountain road that was described by the king of highways, Jeremy Clarkson, as “a deserted ribbon of perfection - one of the best coast roads in the world”. From there, you and the other riders will enjoy the extraordinary view over Da Nang and ride along the scenic coastal roads.
The final stretch of the trip is past the UNESCO-listed Cham Temples of My Son before reaching the finish line in Hoi An. The town’s ceremonial mystery will welcome riders at the finish line where team celebrations will replace sore legs and sun-burnt necks with a real sense of achievement.
In addition to the registration fee, riders are asked to get their network behind them and fundraise a minimum of US$500 which will go directly to support the children that we work with at SCC. The money raised will play a vital role in helping to achieve SCC’s vision to eliminate poverty through education - helping to provide educational opportunities and life changes for disadvantaged children – previous rides have raised many tens of thousands of dollars and this year we built and opened a new school for 320 children in Tra Vinh province with some of the money that the CCA riders raised.
