Thanks for visiting our page!
So from the photo you've probably realised - All five of us made it to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro! We trekked up there this March to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease.
There are currently around 400,000 people around the world suffering from MND and anyone can get it at any time in their life. It is a cruel disease and receives hardly any funding for research from the big pharmas and without that money we’ll never find a cure. Sadly, Dan and Richard's mum had MND and passed away a couple of months ago.
To date, Dan and Richard have raised over £20,000 in her name… but why should they do all the hard work! We hope this challenge will raise even more funding for research and care provided by the MNDA.
Here's a few facts about Kili.
1 - Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world at almost 6,000 metres above sea level
2 - The oldest man to climb it was an 87 year old Frenchie - if he can do it, we're sure we can
3 - Only two-thirds of people who attempt the climb make it to the summit!
So please, dig deep and give generously - all we’re asking for is a donation or whatever you can afford.
