The Muslim Youth Helpline (MYH) is a registered charity in the UK dedicated to providing supoprt services to young Muslims in need.  MYH rapidly developed an innovative model of service delivery in which young volunteers trained in faith and culturally sesnsitive counseling skills, delivered these services to young Muslims in the UK.

 For many young people MYH is the only place they can turn to in times of need. Our experience shows that young Muslims are increasingly reluctant to access mainstream support services for fear of being discriminated and misunderstood, and conversely mainstream support services are struggling to serve and understand a hard to reach Muslim youth. Where required, MYH has acted as a bridge to other services, by building the confidence of young Muslims to access other services.
