Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
On Friday 22nd June a group of people from the Tesco Papershop team will be attempting to climb the highest peaks of England, Scotland & Wales in the space of 24 hours.
The highest peaks in England (Scafell - 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1344m) and Wales (Snowdon - 1085m) pose a great challenge for anyone wishing to climb them individually - to climb all three in the space of 24 hours takes a high level of drive and determination.
Apart from the climbing of each mountain, there is the problem of transporting yourself and your kit from one hill to the next. This involves some 500 miles of driving and ensuring you have suitable clothing for every condition that the great british weather can produce. In addition, it's a real test of anyone's fitness and stamina.
The Team consists of 19 people, including drivers and they are:
Andy Mills, Steve Raune, Anabel Bieco-Church, Lisa Blount, Steven Boddy, David Coulshed, Helen Durance, Jeff Searle, Mark Hall, Will Huggins, Stephen Linnecar, Claire McEwan, Sham Sadhar, Annabel Thorburn, Peter Worsey, Simon Martin, David Cooke, Sarbjit Mahli, Donna Davies
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Also, on top of whatever sum you sponsor, Tesco will donate an additional 20%.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
