We use leading edge scanners to accurately diagnose and monitor cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year my brother was diagnosed with lung cancer and these guys found it in the early stages. However unfortunately i have lost my brother to the evil that is Lung cancer on the 23rd July 2015, and i want to say thank you to all those that have given him support during his epic fight. It was his wish to raise as much as possible for this great team. The team at the Paul Strickland centre want to ensure that more and more patients get the groundbreaking attention that they deserve to enable early diagnosis.

This year the scanner centre is launching its 30th anniversary CT scanner appeal. They will be replacing the old scanner even though it is still going strong, however there have been many more technological advances since it was installed in 2007, thus warranting a need to update the scanner. The money from this small fundraising event i am doing will go towards ensuring more patients are diagnosed early and given the appropriate medical attention.

All i ask is that you please make a donation, no matter how small as every penny does really count.
