We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Starting 18th June 2008, six 16 year old school friends from Wellington College, are planning to cycle approximately 1000 miles from John O'Groats to Lands End. We plan to complete it in 12 days, averaging 80 miles a day, assumming everything goes to plan! We are raising funds for Testicular and Prostrate Cancer causes. Testicular Cancer affects about 3,000 younger men in the UK alone each year, while Prostrate Cancer affects about 35,000 and 700,000 men a year in the UK and the World respectively. Through improved awareness and research life expectancy has improved from 30% (in 1970's) to 70%. We want to help keep the battle going! Funds raised through this website will go to Cancer Research UK, the world's leading independent cancer research organisation, to support their activities in battling these two cancers. Thank you for your support. Alex, Charlie, Charlie, Max, Tom & Tom - The Bike Team
