We will be actively raising money for Mesothelioma UK (a devastating form of cancer due to the inhalation of asbestos) along the way. 

The driver of this expedition (68 years of age) recently lost his wife to this terrible cancer. Carole Hagedorn taught students in asbestos ridden schools; teaching children how to speak different languages ensuring their lives could be well lived, losing her own in the process.
