Story
Hello,
Just to explain the parallels between the 1960’s classic, The Magnificent Seven and The Magnificent Seven of 2007:
-
We are seven men.
-
We ride through bandit country near the border for a good cause, threatened with constant adversity & danger.
- Ray & Tim, two of the cyclists, might even start to look like Yul Brynner, after 2 days in the saddle
.…..that, alas, is where they end.
The 2007 group are attempting the gruelling Coast-2-Coast cycle ride.It requires us to cycle 136 miles between Whitehaven and Sunderland, through the Lake District and across the North Pennines in 2 days.
The cause is for The Lymphoma Association, who provided fantastic support to Stuart’s (one of the cyclists) Dad, who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma last year.
