One year ago in November a great man was sadly taken from so many of us. We have decided to honour his memory with a 30 day challenge open to anybody who fancies getting a bit of a sweat on.

The plan is to run, walk, swim, cycle either 1k, 5k or 10k every day in November. The task will be carried out by a different person each day and there are no rules to how, where or when the distance is covered.

For those who prefer the 1k challenge a nice walk somewhere is perfect, for the more sporting a 10k run is equally as fitting a tribute. All I would ask is a photo of your effort for this site.

There are 30 days in November but there is no reason why this has to be the limit, the important factor is somebody does something on each day.

We currently have about half the people needed so please get in touch if you fancy getting involved.
