Story

We of hills road sixth form college value social action and want to make a change for the better in the world.

This week we are planning to do as much as we can to raise awareness and make a difference in the local community through dog walking and other sponsored events in order to support "Something to Look Forward To," a charity that helps those with cancer by giving them as the name suggests, "Something to look forward to". For all our updates, please visit and follow our instagram page: @thesuvidgroup.

One of our group members, Myles will be partaking in a 5km swim on Thursday, attempting to swim 200 lengths of a 25m pool in under 100 minutes!

Addionally, Suvid will be trying row 80km over a period of 2 days. That's almost 2 marathons!

About the charity

‘Something To Look Forward To’ improves the quality of life for cancer patients and their families by providing gifts, experiences, and essentials, helping to relieve the financial burden associated with cancer treatment and allowing those affected to focus on rest, recuperation, wellbeing, and positive memory building.
