Dear friends and enemies!

As you can see I have decided to get my 'lardy-arse' off the sofa and made the choice to become a super hero! 

I have rather foolishly entered an endurance race which will cross Scotland via foot, pedal and paddle!

Over ONE HUNDRED MILES in one weekend!

My initial attempts to recruit a team were met with NO enthusiasm and a fair bit of ridicule and as a result I am in a one man team of ME! 

I need your help....... (your money!)

I would love to raise as much money as possible for The Anthony Nolan Trust. 

As many of you may be aware my mother sadly died following a long battle against leukaemia.  The Anthony Nolan Trust helped to provide a stem cell transplant which although tragically was not successful, it did provide my mother and my family with the hope of a cure.  For this I will always be grateful.

This amazing charity works to save lives by matching donors to people who desperately need a stem cell transplant. Often, a transplant is the last hope for a person suffering from leukaemia or other blood related disorders.

To continue to do this work they desperately need money.

With only 16 days to go - I have been training hard and lost over 10 Kgs. I have replaced alcohol with high protein drinks and bought some rather fetching Lycra!
