Event: Virgin London Marathon 2013, on 21 April 2013
We support children and young people to reach their potential

Story

On 11th April 2013 I will be running 26.2 miles around London for the Rugby Portobello Trust. For the metric generation that's 4,219,498.8cm.

The world record for the marathon is 2:03:38 and I can only assume Patrick Makau of Kenya is getting nervous.

The support I've received so far (both financial and emotional) has been amazing but I need more of both. Running before and after a long day at work and also at weekends is hard work, especially in bad weather and it's much easier with the support of friends and family. Having (touch wood) overcome a nasty knee ligament problem, I'm really excited about this challenge.

Training is going well and I can't wait for April 21st.
