So there I am in early January , overweight , getting older and still with a passionate hate of the gym . What can I do to make me get a bit fitter   Ten minutes later after a bit of Googling , it's off to the Great Wall of China for a little charity trek .

I finished the trek on July 4th and I must say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had . If you ever get the chance , please go and spend a few days on the Wall , it really is an amazing place.

I would like to say a massive thank you to everone who sponsored and supported me and helped raise the money for Demelza Childrens Hospice. Please be assured that every penny raised will be put to good use by this wonderful organisation and you really have helped to add "life to days when days can't be added to life "
