We deliver critical medical care to save lives across the Thames Valley

Story

I'm running for the local air ambulance - I can't believe they don't get any funding from government or NHS. Anyone might need the air ambulance at any given time, so I thought I'd run for them. It's a cause that everyone might be able to link with or might need in the future.

Let's hope I don't need it whilst running the event!

Shocking fact - "Our air ambulance costs £1.7m a year to keep running, and we receive no funding from the Government, NHS and the National Lottery. Everything we need to keep running comes from the public in the form of donations, fundraising, legacies and sponsorship." Copied from the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance website on http://www.tvacaa.org/index.php - go there for more info.

There's no fundraising target so there's no pressure to give. I don't have a target and am very grateful to you all for your support.
