We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

My Grandma, Jean, has Alzheimer's. She is still my Grandma, but she can't remember enough to enjoy her life the way she once did. When I was little she would make up stories for my brothers and me, now she sometimes can't remember enough for a simple conversation. My Grandad has had the difficult task of looking after her, and made himself very ill before he had to give up, now Grandma needs the full time care of a nursing home.

My family's story is common, and will become more so as our population lives longer and longer. Help me raise money for an excellent charity that funds research into Alzheimer's, so one day others won't have to suffer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
