Story

On Sunday 21 June, I will be cycling from Clapham toBrighton along with seven Liontrust colleagues. I am doing this to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. This supports the early detection and treatment of cancer and clinical trials of new drugs at theFreemanHospital inNewcastle.

I was prompted to do something to raise money by the death of a fellowNewcastle fan in February, with whom I had travelled to matches for 20 years. He died of throat cancer just a few months after contracting the disease. He was only 40 years old and left a wife and a one year old daughter. It is in his memory that I will be cycling.

Thanks in advance for your donation,

Simon
