Story
Dear Friends,
There's little point in running a Marathon just for fun... surely.. so here I am asking for money again to make it more worth my while.
I've chosen CLIC Sargent for this event as cancer charities are close to my heart, and this one is specially for caring for children with cancer http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Home.
I will be running 26.2 miles on 18 April 2010 (a few days before my 43rd birthday so hopefully can celebrate in style) in Brighton, one of my favourite places.
As you can appreciate, particularly not being a youngster (youth comes from within) this is totally challenging for me, and I'd like to ask for your support in my personal challenge, and fundraising. You can follow my blog at http://tracygoingalltheway.wordpress.com.
Not only have I given up sweets, chocolate, crisps, biscuits and cake, I also pledge to give up ALCOHOL from Friday 2nd October until completion of the Brighton Marathon.
Minimum donation on Justgiving is £2.00. Any money you can spare is much appreciated.
Thank you and best wishes.
