Roger and Lorenz have set themselves the challenge of completing the Trans Aq ultramarathon held in France from 1 June to 7 June 2008.  Basically, we have to cover 230km in 6 days carrying our own food and equipment.  Works out at almost a marathon a day for 6 days.  For more information about the event, please visit http://www.transaq.fr/en/ 

This is a huge challenge for ourselves, but, by doing this event we are also raising money for a very worthwhile charity called Starfish.  Starfish Greathearts Foundations supports children who have been orphaned or made vulnerable by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa. Starfish believes in bringing life, hope and opportunity to these childrenand helping each child, one child at a time.
