Hello! and Welcome to my webpage

First and foremost, I must inform you of my challenge, "Trek China".

From 27 October - 6 November 2007 I will be trekking along the Great Wall of China. This will not be a stroll in the park. The trip covers approximately 85 miles during seven consecutive days, taking me through the Yanshan Mountains, up 'Heaven's Ladder' in Huangyaguan and past several historical villages to our end destination of Juyongguan. 

To make this happen I am counting on the support of you, your friends, family, other associates and of course myself! Age Concern is a fabulous charity which promotes the well-being of all older people and helps make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. I should know....my girlfriend Hollie works for the charity!

I have a huge target of £2500 to raise, but one which I aim to surpass. The money you and I raise can help the following;

£1000 - provide emergency heaters, fuel vouchers, blankets and food parcels for 400 older people at risk.

£100 - provides help to five housebound or isolated pensioners who desperately need benefits but don't know how to claim them.

And as little as:

£10 - can provide a winter clothes pack.
