Thanks for visiting our fundraising page
On the 31st of May Chris Glover and his team Sarah McGlynn, Sarah Daynes, Tina Smith, Stuart Mathias, Debbie McMurrough and Paul Wrigglesworth will be taking on the challenge to conquer the Sundog Cheshire Triathlon to raise money for Cancer Research a charity that has touched many of us personally. With a combined age of 295 it may seem a little late for us to enter the world of Triathlon racing. However, the team see it as an opportunity to raise money for charity, promote O2 fund raising and to build team spirit.
The fundraising started when a close friend of Chris Glover's was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Julia Bayliss pictured below was diagnosed earlier in the year and the treatment and support she and her family have received has been second to none. This brought about the realisation that we can all make a difference to a charity that impacts many of us. Julia is currently in remission and will soon be commencing a bone marrow transplant at University College Hospital in London.
Please support the team who will be spending the race day swimming, cycling and running around the Cheshire countryside
