Story

On July 18th and 19th this year, three teams of hardy walkers from the Trinity House Lighthouse Service will be taking part in the Trailwalker 2009 event, to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

The event involves one simple goal: Four people per team, walking 100km (62-ish miles) in 30 hours.  We're not kidding ourselves into believing that it'll be easy, but challenges never are.

If you feel that you are able to support us in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Oxfam gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
