Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

20 Cadet Training Team are a 6 man regular soldier unit who train and support the Cadet Forces within the Southwest as part of 43 Brigades area.  All soldiers on the team have been directly affected by fellow comrades sustaining severe injuries or death whilst on operations; hence why we want to try and do our bit.  The team, supported by elements of the TA and the Cadet Forces within the Brigade area are trying to raise this money for the charities that directly affect the military and their dependants i.e. the Army Benevolent Fund and Help for Heroes.

The Triple Challenge is an event that we have created to raise these monies.  We will put ourselves through three arduous recognised events: The Exe Descent, The Three Peaks and cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End; all continuous and back to back.  See our poster for more details attached.

If you are a cadet unit why not run an event yourselves to raise money for our pot. The unit that donates the largest sum will receive a free half day session for 30 cadets over 14 years old at the Ultimate Urban Paintball Site in the country, at Exeter. See the Youtube link attached.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Army Benevolent Fund who will get your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. All offline donations will be presented to Help for Heroes. Closing date for all donations is 20th July 2009.

So please sponsor us now!
