Story
Thank you for visiting our CLAN fundraising page.
On the 18th of March 2008 CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen & North) launched their 123 fundraising campaign - 1 Charity has 2 years to raise £3million. The aim of the campaign is to raise funds to build a brand new building near in Aberdeen, which will double the capacity for the fantastic services and support they offer.
In November 2007 I joined the board of CLAN and, under the banner of the Urquhart Partnership, we pledged to raise at least £25,000 by March 2010 to go towards the building cost and to sponsor the childrens play area in the new facility (see inset picture for what it will potentially look like) More information on CLAN can be found at www.clanhouse.org
On 26th of November we achieved our target! (and we haven't stopped just yet !)
We managed to raise £12,420 as a team for an event we hosted in conjunction with Acumen Group called The UPprentice, which was a team based fundraising event - visit www.theupprentice.com for details. The event raised a an incedible total of £135,420 for the CLAN 123 campaign.
If you would like to help us raise some money for CLAN, you can still donate through this site which is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate money: CLAN will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
On behalf of CLAN, many thanks for your support.
