Less than 4 months and counting......

After I completed the Reading Half Marathon in April 2009 I signed up for London 2010 thinking there was no shot of getting in through the ballot. I know people that have tried for 4 years and been unsuccessful! But in October I received the email saying I'd been successful and there was no turning back! Now the time has come to start the real training and I'm not sure how i'm going to motivate myself in the rain and cold but I'm determined to cross that finish line on 25th April!!

Cancer Research is the worlds leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. As I was lucky enough to get a ballot place I don't have a specific target to reach but I still wanted to run for a good cause which is important to me and raise money for this vital charity.
