The Veracity Asset Transformation Service team in Leeds are taking part in a 100 mile run to raise funds for the Bradford Burns Unit Appeal.

The Burns Research Unit at the University of Bradford was set up in the wake of the 1985 Bradford FC fire disaster in which 56 people died and over 200 were injured. The unit was established with money from public donations and the tremendous efforts of many local groups and to continue the pioneering work the unit needs help once more. To mark the 25th anniversary of the Bradford FC tragedy an appeal has been set up to raise £100,000 for the Burns Unit.

Our team will be running the from the Macquarie London Office (CityPoint) to the Bristol Office (The Core) while never having to leave Leeds!

The 100 miles will be run on treadmills and will equate to nearly half a marathon per team member! This will be quite a challenge and we sincerely hope you can help by donating to this deserving cause!

Fantastic news. On Friday we completed our target of 100 miles in just over 2 hours. It was a great achievement by the team and in total we have raised over £3500 so far. Many thanks for all your support but the Burns Unit Appeal still needs your help, and we are still taking donations.
