I know - I can't believe it either, but as part of my 'get fit' plan for 2009, I've signed up to the Bupa Great Manchester Run - that's a whole 10k! Running!

For those of you who sponsored me to walk 20 miles last year for Breast Cancer Care (my co-walkers will confirm that I cried at 19miles , thanks to Kate for pulling me through), this is definitely a step up, and worth your pennies!

As most of you know, I work for the Hallé Concerts Society on a project called Sing Up (check out www.singup.org). I've been so impressed by the work the Hallé do in and around Manchester and the talent I've seen. The Hallé is invaluable to Manchester (and the world) so I wanted to do my bit towards fundraising. Please give generously!
