Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! If you've got this far you'll already know that i'm running the London marathon on 26th April to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society. I have 3 main reasons for putting myself through this ridiculous pain... (1) Someone very close to me suffers from Parkinson's so i'd like to raise money for the thousands of people (and their carers) who struggle through each day affected by this horrible disease (2) I did my first marathon in 4.45 a couple of years ago and, all being well and injury free, i'd love to get closer to that elusive 4 hour mark (3) It's the London marathon - the biggest marathon in the world - so no better place to inflict pain on yourself! It's Saturday now and the marathon is tomorrow - i can't believe it's finally come round but i'm excited and ready to go!
