Thanks for coming here.  One year ago I watched friends run the 10K and wondered how, after two babies, I could ever do it.  So I made up my mind there and then and have been training ever since.  I am now two stones lighter and fighting fit.

For my non-local friends,  the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre [LJMC] was opened in 1993. It was the first centre of its kind to offer a full service of support, information, counselling and complementary therapies to cancer patients and their carers.

It aims to help people cope with all aspects of the disease from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.  It is based just up the road from us in Northwood at Mount Vernon Hospital.
